SOPA has been a big deal for many online sites like The Lounge we produce videos where we interview artists and singers, film makers and more. On occasion we use TV footage to show some of the talents who are actually on TV. If this new law passes and someone reports this site, the law permits the host of this site to take it down. We don’t like the idea of such limits no matter how legit the reason. Now many sites are planning a major blackout to protest this potential law.
Like any good protest, it created a news event that brought large-scale awareness to something that’s wrong with the world.
