So I was thinking and have been ever since Walter Isaacson’s book on Steve Jobs was released. TV programming and entertainment is what Apple has been going after since the iPod.
Is it a TV? Is it an enhanced AppleTV? Then it dawned on me.. The product is probably already in most peoples hands. The iPad. Ok ok enough of the duhhhs!
We all get our tv programming from either an antenna or satellite/ cable box. What if you replace it completely using your iPad and a few AppleTV’s?

Think about it, most big channels already offer the content on the iPad. We can already use AirPlay to wirelessly send our whole screen on to an AppleTV. So that’s the cablebox. You can go from room to room and through your show to your TV anywhere in the house. The switch is to merge all the apps and offer paid content..

So you now carry your TV content everywhere. Everywhere! It is centered on the iPad or iPhone or both. You can leave the house with it and each person can watch anything on any tv in the house or beyond. That is a game changer.
