It'll be out this year, shipping for free with a "far along" unannounced title from Nintendo, and selling stand alone at retail for $20. More pics after the break.

Sony gets ripped over price drop of PS3

After getting its butt whipped by the Xbox 360 (which has its own problems) and the Nintendo Wii, Sony has lowered its prices by $100, making it $499 with a 60Gb Hard drive and also launching a new 80Gb next month at $599.
CNBC interviews Jack Tretton to grill him as to why within 7 months of selling PS3's have they lowered the prices. Sounds like the host just bought one for the kids. Also keep in mind that Sony also launched a Blu-Ray player for about $500. So it looks like they don't want the PS3 to knock on those sales either.
