Ok so you may already know that Google has made an open source (linux) operating system that includes a touch interface, downloadable music, games, downloadable apps, and syncs wirelessly (calendar, contacts, IM’s, apps and emails) to Gmail, phone ..... and is not the iPhone.

Google announced last week an open source operating system for cell phones. The wrote a platform called Android, which will allow phone service providers the ability to use a new an innovative operating system, much like the famous iPhone, but made by other manufacturers such as Motorolla and Samsung, who have joined the open source project.
We present here a sample of what the phone capabilities could be. Remember that the phones do not exist, and the first ones do not ship till the middle or end of 2008.
